The 85cm x 500m roll is ideal for large-scale projects such as roadworks, subdivision developments, and infrastructure builds. It minimises the need for frequent joins and saves time during installation. The 85cm x 50m and 100m rolls are perfect for smaller to medium-sized job sites, including residential landscaping works.

Choose from our two colours of silt fence rolls. The high-visibility orange variant is designed to be easily seen and used to indicate areas that should not be entered. 

These fences can be installed either using star picket posts or wooden pegs and tie wire.

How Silt Fences Work

The silt fence is installed facing its filter side towards the direction of water flow. The permeable weave traps the sediment from runoff water while letting clean water pass through. This method helps in preventing pooling and flooding. 

When installed properly along the slope contour or site perimeter, they slow down surface water runoff. This allows sediment and silt to settle before the water continues its flow. Landscapers follow a method called the J-hook structure to get the best results here.
